In its Final Determination on the Regulation of Electricity Transmission and Distribution issued on June 01, 2006, the RIC established an overall constraint or cap on annual revenue that T&TEC can recover through tariffs. The process for the approval of annual revenue limits requires that T&TEC submit, at least two months prior to the beginning of each year of the control period, its proposed tariffs, to apply from the start of each year, for verification by the RIC. The presentation that follows reflects the decisions taken by the RIC for the Annual Tariff Adjustment June 01, 2008 - May 31, 2009 for the Regulation of the Electricity Transmission & Distribution Sector, as presented by the RIC's Chairman, Professor Dennis Pantin and Executive Director, Mr. Harjinder Atwal, at a Press Conference held at the RIC's office on Wednesday 28th May 2008.
